if i like the 2005 Pride & Prejudice for any reason at all, it’s the use of hand shots, particularly of Darcy’s. very clever and captivating, how his inner turmoil leaks into fidgeting, nervous hands when Lizzie is nearby. of course i concentrate mostly on his, but others’ gestures are greatly used and appreciated as well. a trillion props to the director; ty for giving me the wonderful handses~
